The Production Process

Cattle delivered to the plant pass through the following production processes:

  1. Lairage

  2. Slaughter Hall

  3. Cutting Room

  4. Despatch and Distribution

The plant can slaughter up to 1000 cattle per week, of which a high percentage are directly transferred into the Cutting Room. Unprocessed meat is sold directly from the Abattoir as sides or quarters of beef.
