We are always looking at ways to improve our business. In the current economic climate we see that a reduction in our wastage from our raw materials will help not just us but also the local environment. Environmental Standards As of May 2009 we became registered under the IEMA ISO14001:2004 environmental standards. Another leap forward highlighting that as a family business we can strive to produce the highest quality products whilst ensuring we are doing our very best to maintain and improve on environmental matters.

Water Treatment Facility At Jaspers we have become aware of how much water we consume as a company and we felt that this should be addressed. Therefore we are investing in a water treatment facility that will take all of our waste water and recycle it back to clean water. We anticipate a reuse in excess of 40% of the recycled waste. From the investment we have put into this project we have been given environmental recognition as the first Abattoir to receive a Certificate of Environmental Benefit. In August 2009 we were presented with the Silver Award Winner for Water Save Award 2009 from the Environment Agency. Another successful year in waste saving and doing our part for the Environment.
